problems with patch/mixbus
I have a question;
I had to make a recording and decided to do it from mixbus 1&2.
So on every chanel I've put mixbus 1&2 on 0db. (post fader)
The guitar was soft patched from the original input channel 12 to the channels 15&16.(to create a little stereo delay)
When I listened to the recording I've heard everything but the guitar.
Strangely enough i could hear the guitar loud and clear in the room where I was mixing from the speakers and also the fx of the guitar (ch 15,16) wich was send from mixbus 4 was working fine live, but was also not on the recording while the stereo channels on wich the fx returned where also, like all other channels send by mix 1&2.
Is it so that an soft patched channel only sends her mixbus channel signal internaly to whatever and not to the real mixbus outputs on the back of the console?
Ps: I did not use stereo B for the recording because it was already in use for something else.
