Watch out for those PS2 ports!

Just had our PM5d go crazy!

Screen flickers,pairing mode changed from vertical to horizontal,patch jumbled,
control
surface frozen.

It turned out to be PS2 mouse port with wireless mouse connected was loose and
shorting
out. Pretty crazy stuff. Caused by the regular bumping of the knee into the
plugged in
connector.

I posted this in the Yahoo site also. Its good to back in this format instead.

I can see how this would happen. We bump that connector a lot. What we have now is the wire coming out of the connector and routed straight back under the mixer. Certainly a bad position for the jack, right there on one's knee.
